Compressed Air Automation for Energy Efficiency and Reliability

Abstract

This presentation will provide an overview of various systems that showcase that an automation system can have multilevel benefits. These systems not only included energy efficiency benefits, but also significant benefits to system reliability of the compressed air supply.  Details regarding installed equipment along the specifics on the benefits will be presented. Some insights to how IIOT technologies can be applied to real world industrial applications.

Lou has a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Evansville.  He currently is the Director for Case Engineering (Case Controls) managing business operations and business development.  Previous positions include Manager of Engineering for Flanders Electric who is the largest motor repair company in the USA, with international locations as well.  He was responsible for the automation business as well as new product development.  Lou is registered in the Professional Engineer in the state of Indiana.
