Oliver Baumann is the founder of a specialist consultancy with offices in Washington D.C., Chicago, IL, and Frankfurt (Germany) which provides consulting services for sustainable and innovative building solutions for the U.S. and international markets. Leveraging strong analytical skills backed by many years of experience he serves as an expert advisor to building owners and project teams to advance cutting-edge best practices for high-performance buildings to maximize the return on investment. He also serves on advisory teams to guide universities and communities in the development and implementation of campus- and community-wide integrated energy master plans.
Oliver Baumann is an ASHRAE certified Commissioning Process Management Professional and a LEED Accredited Professional. He is an active member of ASHRAE, the US Green Buildings Council, the Building Commissioning Association, and the Association of German Engineers. He has published 20+ peer reviewed articles and presented at more than 50 conferences. In 2008, Oliver was named the CSE 40 under 40 winner, a recognition of his professional achievements and community engagement. In 2014, Oliver received the MERLIN Award for Outstanding Service Provider from the German American Chamber of Commerce in recognition of exceptional achievements in the German-American business community.
