Integrated Demand Side Management (iDSM) - The Successful Integration of Energy Efficiency and Demand Response

Abstract

The presentation will discuss the mechanics and implementation methodologies associated with customer acquisition, program design and implementation as well as how to leverage supporting technologies that meet energy efficiency incentives for savings and technology innovation in addition to delivering substantial demand reduction when needed. The presentation will also address how utilities can leverage these technologies to create unique value propositions with their C&I customers to serve as load protection mechanism and a significant value added resource allowing their C&I customers to reduce total energy usage and savings above the normal program incentives.
